How the Center was organized
A steering committee of scientists and educators from Rutgers University and Brooklyn Botanic Garden determined the Center’s annual programs and initiatives. An advisory board of public- and private-sector representatives identified regional needs and potential restoration partnerships.
That structure joined scientific investigation with the practical concerns of land managers, public agencies and communities—a recurring theme throughout the recovered material.
