Publications

Research made useful beyond the laboratory.

The Center’s publications page connected academic findings, metropolitan plant records and practical ecological landscaping guidance.

New York Metropolitan Flora

The historical page highlights Brooklyn Botanic Garden’s online metropolitan flora. It was described as giving researchers and the public access to more than 150,000 plant records, along with descriptions, illustrations, distribution maps, ecological information and references.

Practical ecological guidance

The Garden’s publications translated research for horticulturists, landscape designers, land managers and the public. The recovered account specifically names material on invasive plants, biodiverse gardens and wildlife habitat.

Scientific journals

Rutgers researchers associated with the Center published experimental findings in journals including Ecology, Restoration Ecology and Oecologia. A complete historical CURE bibliography was not present in the recovered site.
